Pain

The most pain I've ever felt was when I was a younger teenager. I had a pretty tough relationship with a girl and dealt with very bad trust issues. Not a kinda of relationship a 15-yr old should go through. It would drive me nuts. Fits of rage, hours of crying, punching walls, the whole show. I felt like a caged animal at points. Nowhere to go, nowhere to run, no escape from the pain. I experience both physical and emotional pain. I was trapped and full of anger. I wouldn't say that pain is just weakness leaving the body because there are still some people that can become even more weak after feeling so much pain. I think that's why lots of people commit suicide. I think you can become stronger after feeling so much pain, but only if you learn how to the right way. I would say that I've become a lot stronger after experiencing that of a relationship and that much emotional stress and anger at such a young age. I don't think pain is always bad. Think about the people who are paralyzed. Quadriplegics for example. The sensation of pain in their arms or legs would more than likely make them very happy, just because they know they can feel it. So in a sense, I guess pain could bring hope to certain people. I don't think the pain you feel makes you any more or less alive because you can feel pain when you're dying, or when you're having a normal day. I think it just makes you more aware. Humans aren't the only ones that feel pain. Whether it's emotional or physical, I believe that animals also feel pain. I would even go as far as saying perhaps even plants and other small plant-like, microscopic or just living organisms in general, could feel pain. So I don't think it would make sense to say it makes you more human.
